Supporting the Community with Tools for Change
Chicago needs and deserves the tool lending program developed over decades in other cities around the country. We bring a low-cost alternative to purchasing, storing, and maintaining the tools and equipment community organizations need to make their projects possible. The Windy City ToolBank is a recognized Affiliate of the ToolBank USA network. We are bringing the ToolBank brand and programs to the Chicagoland community of nonprofit and community groups.
I wanted to reach out and thank you for making sure The National At-Home Dad Network got the projectors and screens for our event. The pickup and return went off without a hitch and I just calculated what it would have cost us to rent from the hotels preferred A/V company and it was over $5,900.
So thank you for allowing us to use that money on serving our members and community instead!
Thank you again for making this work last week with such little notice. The project was a huge success! Just wanted to share this. There was historic flooding in early July. Off the Street Club had 2 brand new fridges and a new commercial range/oven donated in April. The flooding destroyed the new fridges and the oven portion no longer works. They have been using coolers since then. They have 250 – 400 kids per day in the summer.
With the money we saved by working with you, our client, was able to purchase them 2 new oversized refrigerators.
